I have been wanting to compliment you on how many people have been arriving at and commenting on your blog! That's so awesome, and it's not been public for that long. They may be your secret obsessions and aesthetics, but clearly they are secrets that delight everyone else! That's why I said it was not-so-secret, not because I was proclaiming it to my small readership but because of its own growing popularity! And those butterflies. They look so beautifully still but still so alive. I can't get over it.
I've worked at bringing visitors -- traveling to blogs of similar interest and leaving thoughtful comments, and joining the Independent Fashion Bloggers site and participating in discussions there. The world is so saturated with fashion and style blogs now, one can't just sit passively and expect that "People will come." Don't get me wrong, though - it's fun work. I love visiting inspiring blogs and commenting, and it's icing on the cake if that blogger visits me in return.
